Noel and Val Roddick have been serving the farming community in the Fraser Valley for over forty years. Noel Roddick graduated from UBC in 1960 with his Bachelor Science in Agriculture. It is here he met and later married his wife Valerie. They purchased property on Westham Island, and started a fertilizer business in 1971, purchasing the BC Sugar Beet Seed plant in1980 which is still the store’s current location.
Noel has always had a love for horses. It was this hobby that got them started in a small Feed and Tack store on the property. It is this little store in the country that carries all your family pet’s feed needs including a diverse line of horse feed, chicken feed, and of course dog and cat food.
We also carry many other items such as hay, tack, chicken feeders, bird seed, and rodent control items.
The newest addition to the store is our line of Landscape materials. We are now carrying landscape materials including fertilizers, lime, grass seed, and organic landscape materials.
Roddick’s is a farm-based family business, and that means we’re committed to maintaining a strong and viable agricultural community by providing a wealth of supplies and information to you, our customer. We are avid equine people and we are also gardeners and horticulturists.
